INSTALLATION PROFESSIONAL
WTI, Inc. seeks a full-time Installer. The job entails installing blinds, shutters, shades, drapery, and motorized products for residential and commercial customers in the surrounding communities. The candidate must have solid installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills, along with exemplary customer service skills. Candidate must be a self-starter and eager to learn and take on responsibilities. Candidate must be self-directed and able to work independently and with the team. This role has the opportunity to grow within the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install custom window treatment products onto a wide range of surfaces including wood, drywall, metal, and cement
- Perform in-field window treatment repair
- Maintain work van, tools, and equipment in clean and operational condition
- Manage daily deliveries of products and organize by customer
- Turn in all paperwork and field reports and collect $ balances from clients
- Follow-up, order, and maintain records of repairs and/or remakes of products
- Interact with clients in a professional and service-oriented mindset
- Take photos of each job when completed
- Leave the client's home clean and free from damage, debris, dust, etc
- Manage and organize back stock of items/parts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior general workmanship skills from any industry. Experience in working as an in-home installer is a plus
- Able to read and take accurate measurements
- Must be able to operate small power tools; drills, saws, etc.
- Friendly and courteous with customer service kills
- Well-groomed and professional
- Strong work ethic - reliable, dependable, responsible
- Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
- Able to lift 50 + lbs. and perform physical work with no limitations or restrictions
- Able to negotiate ladders, stairs, and scaffolding. Bend and climb.
- Previous window covering experience is ideal
